These photographs were made on a protest in Bremen (Germany) on the 24.02.2023, marking one year after Putin invaded Ukraine and started the still ongoing war.
Many people gathered, listened to speeches by Ukrainians and local politicians, applauded, shouted their demands, laughed, cried, hugged each other, and sung the Ukrainian National Anthem together. These are some of my impressions from that deeply emotional day.
